Really?!?

Politics aside, how could this person ever be considered a viable Vice Presidential Candidate?

Jessica Simpson Has Put on Some Weight...

My Pre-Season Fantasy Football MVP

The most important Fantasy Running Back this year is a Minnesota Viking. He's just not the Viking you think he is.
I admit to being a bit of a Fantasy Football fanatic. I play in two leagues and Fantasy takes up more of my time and energy than it probably should. I talk to Travis about it a minimum of 5 hours a week, spend time at work blankly staring at free agent screens and stats, and spend an hour or more every week doing the weekly wrapup for the league I am the Commisioner (and exalted leader) of. This year may be my finest Fantasy year ever, because this year I have Chester Taylor.
The morning of the Fantasy Football Draft is like Christmas Morning for adults. You wake up and look under the proverbial tree to see what Fantasy Santa left you as a gift to make your Fantasy Season bright. At first, Fantasy Santa was cruel to me. I unwrapped the 8th pick in the Draft in both leagues, meaning names like Westbrook, Tomlinson, Brady, and Purple Jesus (Adrian Peterson) would have no chance of being on either of my teams. But when all was said and done and the gifts had all been unwrapped, I noticed one gift hidden under the tree. It was the gift of the Larry Johnson Memorial Award. A few years ago, Larry Johnson was the young, powerful backup to Priest Holmes in Kansas City. My father took him in all his drafts, way earlier than a backup should be taken, knowing that if something happened to the fragile Holmes he would have a top 10 Fantasy Running Back. That injury to Holmes came to fruition, Johnson went on an otherworldly run, and nearly every Fantasy League was affected. For teams that had drafted Holmes and backed him up with Johnson, they escaped injury to a first round pick and still got production. For those wise enough to snatch Johnson before Holmes owners could get him, their teams got appreciably better and many of them won championships. Johnson was a League Changer. This year, Fantasy Santa left me the player that could affect more Fantasy Leagues than any other.
If I couldn't have Purple Jesus, I should could make his owners nervous. That was my thought process going into both of my Drafts. My 8th pick in the 1st Round turned into the 3rd pick in the Reserve Rounds and I was going to get Chester Taylor, Peterson's stud backup, in both leagues. I did and now I wait. One Peterson owner has already contacted me about a trade, trying to get Taylor before something happens to Peterson. The other Peterson owner will sweat out a season in which a notoriously injury-prone Peterson is a bad cut away from turning over the reigns to Taylor. If that happens, you can bet, I will be in the driver's seat. That's what I'm hoping for.
