1. This was a huge win for the Sox because it may drive the Angels crazy. The Angels have now lost 10 straight games to the Sox in the playoffs. You know they have to be thinking about that over the next two days. Doubt is super powerful in sports.
2. Jon Lester is becoming an absolute horse. The guy is growing up into a Major League Ace before our eyes. Phenomenal stuff tonight.
3. Apparently this is how we're going to have to win games now. Pitching, Defense, and Timely Hitting. There is no more winning slugfests for these guys.
4. Jacoby Ellsbury and Jason Bay were awesome tonight. I'm sure it will be two different guys on Friday.
5. I said it once, but I'll say it again. Craig Sager + Salmon Suit = Double Plus Good
